Urban Intel was founded by Mic Nickels, a veteran emcee, author, and cultural builder with over 30 years in the game. From rocking mics across the globe to publishing Bars for Days, Mic has always stood for truth, skill, and purpose. Urban Intel is the natural evolution — a platform where clothing meets consciousness.

Having grown up in the thick of hip-hop’s golden age, Mic watched as the culture was slowly co-opted and diluted. Urban Intel is a declaration: the real ones never left — they just evolved.
